We would like to take a minute of your time to celebrate one of our agents. Not just the work he has done as an agent, but how he and his wife stepped up in our community over the past few months.
Please take a moment to say thank you and congratulate Jonathan and Cindy Wallace on a job well done with Cilantro's Speciality Food and Coffee Shop.
They remained open and were deemed "essential workers" from the onset of COVID-19 in March. They quickly transferred their shop into a grocery store, a candy store and sold a few other items for their friends and neighbors to support their local businesses that were not deemed essential.
They also placed a grocery cart outside their shop to collect and distribute canned goods and other nonperishables to local homeless shelters and help those less fortunate. They have also supplied 100's of meals to the Columbia House in New Haven. Long before Covid-19 hit they have both been pillars in the community, leading community service projects and always first to help with a local fundraiser.
You can see by the signs hung in their windows and the donations they offer to local boards and charities they never say no to someone looking for help. From Guilford Youth Mentoring, Saint George festivals, Women and Family Life Center, Guilford Center for Children, Domus kids LLC, Song Strong, and The Guilford Foundation to name a few and this list could go on and on for days...
We are thankful to have Jon and Cindy Wallace as our neighbors at Cilantro's and so proud to have Jon at Page Taft.
