While Former Page Taft Sales Manager and Professional Development Leader is Appointed to Branch Executive
Guilford, CT – January 11, 2021 – Page Taft-Christie’s International Real Estate announces executive vice president and former brokerage owner, Karen Stephens has decided to transition from her management role to further expand her career as a REALTOR®. Associated with this change, Matt Healy will succeed her in the Branch Executive role for its Madison, Guilford and Essex offices.
“Karen has made countless contributions to the agency in her time as a Page Taft manager, and while she’ll be turning her attention to her own goals as a sales professional, she’ll remain a valuable resource for her colleagues,” said Michael Schlott, President, Page Taft-Christie’s International Real Estate and the Randall Family of Companies. “We’re very fortunate to have someone of Matt Healy’s professional caliber to assume this role. Further, we’re extremely confident in Matt’s ability to oversee the day-to-day operations of these three offices while maintaining his integral role as a coach and trainer of Page Taft agents.”
Stephens, who previously oversaw the operations of Page Taft’s Guilford, Madison and Essex offices and served as Executive Vice-President for Page Taft’s partner company Randall, Realtors, has nearly 20 years of relevant real estate experience. In 2000, her sales career began at Page Taft’s Guilford office, and she went on to take over the leadership of the company in 2005.
The 21-year Guilford resident is a member and past president of the Shoreline Chamber of Commerce and the Council of Residential Specialists; a board member and past president of the Middlesex Association of Realtors and the Women and Family Life Center. She was recently appointed to the Guilford Economic Development Commission.

Stephens will continue to work out of Page Taft’s Guilford office, servicing both listing and buying clients while also sharing her expertise and knowledge with other agents in a coaching and training capacity.
Healy joined Page Taft in 2015 after a career as a full-time firefighter. Previously, he served as a REALTOR® and as the company’s Professional Development Leader, responsible for agent recruitment and providing valuable insight to the next generation of real estate professionals. In his most recent role as Sales Manager, he acted as the company’s leading recruiter, worked hand-in-hand with individual agents to build their books of business, and helped to organize and oversee company meetings and events while also working to expand Page Taft’s offerings in terms of training. In his new role as Branch Executive, he will be supported by the experienced administrative staff at each location and will continue to work in tandem with General Manager Bob Leighton to further the brokerage’s professional development goals.
Healy is a member of a number of community organizations including: the Guilford Board of Fire Commissioners, Guilford Center for Children Board of Directors, Guilford Basketball League coach, Pizza People of New Haven, NHMR-Young Professional Network, and the Shoreline Chamber of Commerce, to name a few.
